1. Jervis Bay National Park
Jervis Bay National Park is a must-see attraction, covering over 80 km of breathtaking coastal scenery and nature-rich bushland. The park is home to several trails, beaches, and a diverse range of flora and fauna, making it an enchanting place to explore. Some beloved spots in the park include the walking trail at St. Georges Head and The Hyams Beach entrance.
2. Point Perpendicular Lighthouse
Set on the Northern end of Jervis Bay, this striking, white and red-striped building is a popular destination for visitors. The lighthouse provides a picturesque view of the unspoiled bay, the rugged coastline, and is an excellent spot for whale watching. Visitors could take a guided tour, only offered on Sundays though.
3. Bundanon Trust
Bundanon Trust is an art museum that features some of Australia's best contemporary art exhibitions, including the works of Arthur Boyd and other Australian creators. This museum is an exceptional place to indulge in nature, art, and culture and to enjoy some breathtaking views along the Shoalhaven River. Visitors are advised to make prior bookings.
4. Fitzroy Falls
Located in Morton National Park, Fitzroy Falls is a stunning natural wonder with its towering waterfalls and lush rainforests. There are several trails ranging from short walks that lead to scenic viewing platforms to longer treks that go through the park's groves and offer the chance to see some of the park's native animals in their natural habitat.
For history buffs, Meroogal is an iconic 19th-century colonial-style house that revolves around the lives of four generations of early Australian women. Located in Nowra, the Meroogal Museum is a peaceful place to visit and learn more about Australia's colonial history.
6. Berry Historic Village Museum
